Join Mount Vernon Elks: Brotherhood, Service, Community

Discover active fellowship and heartfelt support at our vibrant lodge on Market St, right in the heart of Skagit Valley.

About Us

Nestled at 2120 Market St in Mount Vernon, WA, the Elks Lodge stands as a beacon of brotherhood, patriotism, and community spirit. For decades, we've been more than just a meeting hall—we're a family forged in shared values and unwavering commitment to making our corner of Washington state better. Picture crisp Pacific Northwest evenings filled with laughter echoing through our welcoming halls, the aroma of home-cooked meals at our events, and the pride of veterans sharing stories under our red, white, and blue banner.

Our lodge thrives on action: hosting barbecues that draw crowds from across Skagit Valley, organizing charity drives that deliver real impact, and providing a home away from home for RVers and travelers needing a pit stop. We're the ones who went above and beyond for a fellow Elks with a wheelchair repair (even if it took a creative detour), extended stays for coaches on the mend, and earned rave reviews for our central location near stores and sights. With a 4.5-star rating from 35 loyal members and guests, we're proof that small-town heart beats big. Whether you're a veteran, a local looking to give back, or just seeking genuine connection, step through our doors and feel the Elks difference—where every handshake builds lasting bonds.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Stopped in one night and there was a "Country Jim" singing in the lounge there and the dance floor was completely full. We only stopped in for a drink and ended up staying all night! Had a GREAT time dancing and absolutely loved his music!"
— Kerry Linder
".Walked in dressed to go to their dance... before I could say anything, a chubby older woman with long gray hair asked if I was a member. I said, No, I am not... but before I could say anything more she came right back and said, you can not come in if you're not a member. ...then I replied, well, I do have three members who said they would sponsor me, but if that's what you want to tell me, then I will leave. Well, I left, knowing that I would see those members that invited me later at another dance location. Since I have been to many Elks clubs in Puget Sound, and they are always glad to sponsor dance groups, this was a surprise... She didn't say, Can I help you? or Welcome, or Do you know a member? Nope. How do they expect people to join with an attitude like that???"
